Never ever realised that you could eat courgette flowers! They certainly look delicious. Is that like a tempura batter?

When I have had them they have had little courgettes attached and yes, it was like a tempura batter.

I had one of those for dinner tonight, been out to Jamie's Italian.  The courgette flower was stuffed with ricotta, lemon and mint, deep fried, and served with a rocket pesto and tiny chopped tomato and garlic stuff. Gorgeous.

Saganaki is pan-fried cheese - you know kinda like a baked Camembert, except this is jus a tangy cheese a la feta as opposed to having the tones of Camembert or Brie, IYSWIM.
