Has anyone ever tried freezing cauliflower rice?
our grocery shop normally costs about £50 for food. I'm always gutted when it costs so much and then you only fill 2 bags up. We only have 1 or 2 packs of meat a week, I don't like buying cheap meat too often, so I go to farm shop for that mostly but of course it is more costly. I was finding asda meat terrible, co-op chicken tasted artificial and didnt like any of the meat I've bought from aldi or lidl, as well As becoming increasingly concerned about farmers livings, animal welfare, meat filled with water etc, so I pay more for less and then try to stretch meat out as much as possible. I also don't eat a lot of fish nowadays because of sustainability.
In saying that I did buy one of these roast in the bag chickens from the co-op on Sunday which worked out well-no washing up!. It's done us 2.5 main meals, 4 risotto portions, and 3 days worth of sandwich filling for hubby which I think works out well for £6.
