Just  caught up with this thread - Great!! congratulations to mummy and daddy.

Mega hypos at the end of the third semester are unfortunately, usually the sign of a failing placenta, ISTR from comments made by various diabetic mummies on here over the years - so they did the right thing starting you when they did.  Nice size, big enough not to feel she's going to break when you handle her!

We do need a piccy, please!

Sarah

First of all you look absolutely beautiful as does your daughter... the forum software will only allow 512kb photos and limits them to 1000kb.  Try adding one to a new post.

I will send you a friend request on FB.  Meantime I cannot believe (oh well I can because you are a complete star) how far you have come since you first came on this forum as a lost soul who couldn't control her D.  My god woman, you are totally amazing!

She is absolutely beautiful, and that's a gorgeous piccy of you both Sarah!

Brill that she 'latched on' so quickly, too.  You'll miss having the lovely low BG figures that nursing mamas get Sarah - so make the most of it while you can!

This is my fave pic of us. She was so teeny. Was the worst day of my live because of all the trauma but the best too because I finally got to me my baby. After everything I've been through with my diabetes I truly feel blesse . Since meeting my now husband, my life has changed for the better. Its because of him that my life is perfect. I probably wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for him.

I made this last week. Alana is now 13 weeks and 1 day, or 3 months today. She's still so teeny. Only just fitting in 0-3 clothes. She is so strong. Loves tummy time. Loves a bath with mama. She doesn't like the pram very much but does love the wrap. She likes to be held close. She loves her Grannie's and especially her little Auntie Poppy (she's 6) she loves stories from Auntie Poppy too. She's just amazing.
