I'm no cook, but ran across this site and thought it might be helpful for people creating their own low carb recipes, tracking carbs, etc.

Good thinking.

I use an app called "cook and count" on my iPad, which is easily taken to the kitchen rather than my desktop which is upstairs.  You can get it here for iPads/iPhones http://www.healthapps.uk.com/cook-and-count.html
and here for Android devices https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.healthapps.cccarbsapp

I've used that site for years.  It is very good, especially for tracking nutrients, but it only knows about USA foods and has a bias towards processed rather than natural foods.

Funny I was only thinking about you last night Nick and thought you'd not posted for a long time.  I was prompted by a programme I was watching on TV called "eat well for less". I'll start a new thread.
