Far too new Liam, though they did indeed use the name.

It's a sort of syncopated tune that I know - hence ideal for tap dancing to - I did notice there's a Cal Calloway version - he's a bit before ME !  LOL

(Happy feet,  I've got those happy feet,  Give them a low down beat  And they begin dancing)

happy feet !! :)
I am sure the comedian / actor steve martin did a routine called "Happy Feet". - it was about 1975 or so I think
I did a quick youtube search and found two very different Martins performing two very different "Happy Feet". I liked them both:

Dean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7hcvK1r2e0

Steve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnksquL557s

I know the one Sedge is referring to and I think it might be the Dean Martin one but I am not allowed to view the video for some reason.

Here's one performed (I think) by a very young Frank Sinatra.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1W1V_nsBaX8

Curiously a friend rang me yesterday and told me she'd got blisters walking the identical route that I did last week!  She thought it might be her socks.

That IS the one - however the main singer is definitely a young Bing Crosby !!

A happy tune for happy feet !!

Ah well, I knew it was someone I ought to know, but when they were a lot younger than when I actually did know them... if you get my gist!

Yes - but Bing's face - other than his hair going grey and then starting to disappear as we all got older (though mine wasn't grey yet at that time LOL) was exactly the same all his life, from what I've ever seen of him.  In that clip you posted - if he suddenly changed to 'White Xmas' in the middle, I wouldn't bat an eyelid really!

Whart a marvellous old video. Pity about the colourisation but some incredible performances. Not just Bing (I can't believe he ever looked that young!) but also the bloke with the rubber legs who moonwalks decades before Jackson. Thanks for the link.

What a great video.... I loved it.  It's definitely Bing Crosby, recognisable by his ears.  My Mum was nuts about him.

Al "Rubber Legs" Norman made me laugh and makes Michael Jackson's moonwalk look very tame.
