If you have any neurological symptoms the guidelines are injections every other day until there is no further improvement ( not just 2 weeks). Then it should be every 2 months for life. There should be no further testing as it will show a false high. Many practices do not follow these guidelines so it will be very interesting to know if your doctor will.
I've just booked myself onto the PA/B12 deficiency conference in December. This was after speaking to Martin Hooper who is the chairman and has written books on the subject. There are many interesting speakers and Martin was very interesting. He says my story of insufficient treatment and doctors who know little about it is very common. He has told me to go back to the doctor with some print outs from the society and insist the guidelines are followed. He steps in and helps when doctors refuse.
