Thats what i was told about it when offered it before - that you pee out glucose (calories) without absorbing therefore causing weight loss, so long as your current diet is just the right calories or less and you dont just increase food to account for the peed out calories.

I decided against taking the similar drug i was offered, but just based on conveniences / worry it would make me concerned about doing dog walks etc much beyond 15 minutes away because of what if i need to pee etc as i think my bladder is already the size of a pea!.
