Have you asked directly what puts them off?  That would be VERY interesting.

Type 1.  Mis-diagnosed T2 May 2003, finally had CPeptide test 15/7/11 and proper diagnosis 1/9/11.  Now pumping Apidra with Roche Spirit Combo pump. Hba1c 6.1 April 2016.

Will their phone beep at them anytime someone utters a syllable on here?  If not it's unlikely to be quick enough for anyone under 40 these days!

some people seem very focused on believing all the stuff that comes out of the DSN mouth -- rather than real D's ( if that makes sense )

It Makes a lot of sense Paul.  Unfortunately what often comes out of the DSN’s mouth is what it says “on the tin” guaranteed to give anyone an inferiority complex when it doesn’t work like that for them.


I need to adjust basals again.  Since I finished the course of antibiotics my FBGs have gradually crept up to 9ish which makes it hard to manage the rest of the day.  Though perhaps the last 3days are not a good example to go by as we’ve been eating out all day, stuff I wouldn’t normally eat such as rice and pasta.


Many people have never been told that basals need adjustment from time to time.
