It's bloody annoying too, having to eat stuff you don't want when you're trying to lose weight!

Dr D hope your new scales are more accurate, the last thing you need is scales that weigh kilos too heavy!

I think it is Lucy getting the new scales. I am down to 97 kg now but think half the loss was caused by being back in hospital (will explain next week but neither a reoccurrence of the virus nor diabetes related)...

Well it is a month in and I am now 96kg the rate of loss (1kg in last fortnight) slowing right down. I suspect it is because with everything that has happened I feel somewhat down!  :(

Well, it's still a loss and therefore good Dr D!  I have not been trying.  I get very down when I lose some then get on the scales and for no reason it's gone back on again!

That happened to me about a week ago, Patti, but then I got on the scales again yesterday and had lost it again.  It is disheartening but don't give up.

And if I continue to eat fish and chips it won't happen at all Pauline!  However, having had them for lunch I only had a bowl of home made mushroom soup in the evening and couldn't finish that!

I was playing around with a new BMI calculator that is modified for taller people. It has increased my target weight for a BMI of 25 by 4kg!  :). Wonder what weight obsessed DSN will say!
