Hiya Pete and welcome back

So do I gather that diabetes is now making you feel unwell?  How can we help and support you?

Are you testing your BG Pete?  Can't recall whether you had a meter or not.

If so, what sort of numbers are you seeing?

Pete

I realise it's not easy, and personally I do not think you have ever got past denial... and not been helped by family who haven't recognised the importance of your condition, but could you possibly bear to do a couple of tests a day?  e.g. FBG and maybe a couple of hours after one meal a day?  At least that would be a starting point and we could go from there.

Pete! Hello, nice to see you back :)

I'd just pick one meal to work on to start with, whichever is easiest for you to test before/after and adjust food. Forget the rest till you've got that one worked out.

So Pete... have you made a start?

I recall from previous times you've posted that one of your stumbling blocks has been that your wife won't take the need for a change in diet for you seriously.  If that's still the case and you are beginning to have complications could that not be used as a lever?
