Back soon...
« on: 26 April 2017, 11:29:41 PM »
In case anyone noticed my absence I have been awaiting connection to the NBN (fast internet) for a month. I am now told I may be online Friday or Monday - but I was also told that last week. Sending this via tethering to my smartphone but I can't do that often as it gets expensive.

See you next week, hopefully.
Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.

You have been much missed Alan.  I was aware of the reason for your absence, but can't believe they have taken so long!

I am reconnected at last although the speed improvement is less dramatic than I hoped for. But at least I can use the net again. Being disconnected is the 21st century version of being sent to Coventry (apologies to any who live in that fair city :) ).

I'll drop in again later. Lots of catching up to do.

How very dare you!  No I forgot, we moved from there in 1999 - just left with a CV postcode and telephone dialling code now, being 100 yds over the border!
