The cyst has reduced in size but not gone away completely, but I do still have a few more days of drops.

I wonder if it is D related.
T2 and PCOS. Just had large serous adenofibroma removed with ovary and fallopian tube. Bp is now normal!

Novorapid, levemir, trulicity, metformin.

  • It's ONLY Diabetes. It could be something worse!

If it doesn't go away completely go back to the Dr.

I've personally not heard of the eye cysts being related to diabetes... but it might be.  OTOH once you have D it would seem that any/all ailments are caused by it ;)

agree with patti -- the medics are quick to point the D finger of blame -- but i have not come across it as being D related in my travels !!

haha sedge -- it is always a 50/50 flip of the coin which the doc will say is prime cause -- D or age -- LOL

Pete's doesn't know how lucky he is - it's only age with him !

TBH - they blame nearly as much on smoking and in some cases I daresay they are correct.  However I'm actually really annoyed they blame my PAD more on diabetes than they do smoking.  It doesn't really matter either way, I'm stuck with it now whatever!

A young un whose driving licence will expire in January and he's just had to have photos taken for the first time for this purpose ad try and get his head round all the different forms you have to fill in to keep his C1/towing/minibus entitlement.  Worryingly there is no mention at all anywhere of retaining his full motorbike licence - so the forms photos and the medical have been despatched to Swansea with some trepidation.  We'll see!

Incidentally - medical cost him £51 with Doctors on Wheels, whereas our GP surgery charge over £150 for the same thing - bit cheaper if it's an 'employment' licence rather than 'leisure'.

Both the forms and the Guidance Notes are very very confusing to say the least.  They need studying over several days when you have a clear head and sharp brain - before you apply pen to any of the paper.  I don't think either of us is stupid - plus of course we are both familiar with the diabetes renewal forms so it's not like it's the first time one of us has needed to renew but it struck me, well - they don't actually appear to want to encourage anyone to retain more than 'just a basic car' licence.  If you are absolutely determined well so be it - but you'll have to jump through hoops!
