Hi all, thanks for the welcome back.
At the moment my latest HbA1c was pretty poor, i think it was 8.0, it was on its way back down 6 months ago but this last test was higher (it mimics the weight loss/gains very well).
Im still having personal training sessions and started up with circuit training again this week. I've had (still have but not so bad) problems with my neck since last March which has limited my exercise. Just sat at the desk at work one day and next day i couldn't move it, then had a near miss in my car and had to slam brakes on and swerve at the same time which wrenched the neck and shoulder again).
Main aims today are: losing weight and maintaining lower carb diet again to try to reduce the bg levels, as well as doing my best to avoid injury and illness (although currently have a poorly boy so im sure ill get that by the weekend!). I spent from September 2016 - March 2017 pretty much ill, tonsilitis twice, then pneumonia which dragged on for 8 weeks plus some normal colds. Did lose a fair amount of weight on the plus side, and im always thankful when its not a vomiting bug!
Anyhow, i get 2 hours a day free now half the week so i have time to prep decent food and look after myself a bit better.
