Type 2 Diabetes online survey
« on: 25 February 2018, 01:35:09 PM »
Hello everybody. I am hoping you might be able to help me!

As part of my doctoral course in Clinical Psychlogy at the University of Surrey, I am studying the social experiences and wellbeing of adults with Type 2 Diabetes. If you are aged 18 or over, have a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes, live in the UK and are fluent in English, I would really appreciate your time in completing an online survey. The survey is anonymous and should take around 20-30 minutes to complete. To thank you for your time, completing the study will enable you to enter into a prize draw to win one of 20 £10 Amazon.co.uk vouchers (your e-mail address can be entered at the end of the survey if you wish to enter). We are aiming to recruit around 80 participants - so the odds of winning are good!

The study has been reviewed and received a favourable opinion from the University of Surrey’s Ethics committee.

By clicking through to the web-link https://surreyfahs.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aid5PAZqSvz5pLD  you will be able to access and read the information sheet and consent form, before completing the survey.

If you have any questions regarding the study, my contact details can be found within the participant information sheet (the first page you see when you click on the above link).

Thank you very much for your time.

Katie

I agree with you completely QL.  If I hadn't found this forum, I would not be in control of my diabetes as well as I am now.  I have no worries about my condition because I feel in complete control.

I don't get depressed so my answers were all positive.
