It's the 'conglomerate' of diabetologists Patti and all the ideas they as a practicing body promulgate/disseminate or whatever the word is. It stands for the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists.
There wasn't such a thing until about 10 years ago and a local consultant (who I've met and talked to, even talked WITH on some occasions, but whose name totally escapes me!) (Indian heritage, maybe Sikh? - does his name start with a V?) - from the Geo Eliot, not Coventry hospital, was very involved in getting it going, a while ago, the early noughties was it originally? So - they now had a forum to communicate together and 'do stuff' and Mike was involved in one such thing - maybe the roll-out of it? I can't recall now whether you actually told us Mike! Confidentiality?
But whatever it seems to be going to be officially presented at the Prof Conference - so one would hope any changes they have decided on are good ones and we'll all benefit asap!
