New blog from “our” Mike

https://www.everydayupsanddowns.co.uk/  Once again Everydayupsandowns aka “our Mike”has been invited to rub shoulders with the great and the good.  As always his account is told with humour and self-deprecation.

Personally I was pleased to read the paragraph about it being “only”diabetes.  At long last someone has “got” what my long-standing strap line refers to.

Wow!

It's a bit unnerving to asked to speak to a room where speeches and introductions have begun "my lords, ladies and gentlemen" without that just being a jokey thing to say.

An excellent report Mike and it sounds like an excellent presentation too. I wish I'd been there.

PS The post below it was also excellent. Glad to see you are making the effort to make a difference. Good on you, mate.
Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.

Yup that's the one. First came across the term in my early days online when I was reading more US blogs. There's a big list here: https://www.sixuntilme.com/blog-mt2/blog_images/Q12011/SUM_Diabetes_Terms.pdf
