After searching the net for low carb breakfast ideas, and only coming across fried or egg based dishes, I finally came across this one which suits me down to the ground. having tried eating eggs and the like and not really enjoying it for breakkie, I found this recipe much more to my taste.....
Take 1 tub of cottage cheese ( for protein) , 1 cup and a half of low fat vanilla yogurt. blend until smooth.
Take one sundae glass (in my case I used a tumbler!) layer it with firstly 3-4 tablesp. of the yogurt/cheese mixture
then sprinkle on some sf granola, (about a tbsp) add a few pieces of fruit, (frozen berries is which I used) chopped strawberries, kiwi, etc, about 6-7 small chopped pieces, then sprinkle a few chopped nuts, then layer it all over again until the glass is full.
30g carbs per serving.
