...... aaaand the saga continues!
After the hospital we went to ASDA and then M&S to pick up some bits and pieces and lo and behold I was hypo in M&S, having shot up after the toast I had for brekkie initially. So treated that and shot up into the teens, despite only eating 4 glucose tabs and half a cereal bar (whole thing was 14g carb, so what I had was approx 7g), which dropped down to 8 before a late lunch and then shot up again and then dropped again early evening, when I treated with Jelly beans. Said to J, it's the dreaded rollercoaster and I have to get off it somehow. Dinner was eaten fairly late and was chicken breast stuffed with a lump of Dolcelatte and then wrapped in air dried ham and baked, roast golden and red beetroot with garlic and red onions, butter braised leeks and peas and some new potatoes done in the oven. BG barely rose and I chuntered along all night in a straight line in the 5s. Go figure... how are you supposed to alter basals when they are so unpredictable?
