Patti - Pete and I both had difficulty actually cutting the skin (and no our table knives are not blunt instruments LOL) but really, it was the amount of fat I was more appalled at, I mean normally eg a Lincs sausage has 16.4g but they usually pop during the 'sizzling' and leave a fair bit in the pan, whereas these didn't burst, left hardly any behind after cooking so I can only conclude that the whole 22g of it must have stayed within cos where the heck else could it go? Yet - it didn't actually taste greasy - weird.
