Miao Miao and freestyle Libre
« on: 08 July 2018, 12:39:30 PM »

Hi All

Just thought i would pop this on for all to have a look at.

The Miao Miao is a little device that sits on and around the freestyle libre sensor and basically turns it into a CGM ( ok interstitial fluid )
it talks to the phone app ( miao Miao ) and allows alarms to be set for warning of impending low and high bg's.

Oh cool! Frankly having read some people's stories of dexcoms and the like alarming throughout the night I kind of enjoy the fact that the Libre doesn't do that! But then again nighttime hypos and the like are always concerning and it's nice to have the option of both affordable continuous glucose data AND an alarm system if you need/want it. Good find!

"I suppose anyone can fall," said Shasta.
"I mean can you fall and get up again without crying, and mount again and fall again and yet not be afraid of falling?"
"I - I'll try," said Shasta.
