The software for the Roche Combo pump is quite the most unhelpful thing I have ever seen.  Neither the nurse nor myself could find anything useful in it at all.  When I get to my appointment the clinic use a machine they have to download all my tests into Diasend and print them out in a useful format.

Can you not upload to Diasend yourself? They almost always seem to have problems uploading in clinic, so I do it at home the day or morning before. I use Diasend all the time to review my results at home.

The software on the Roche meter is useless... just connecting it to the computer is a faff beyond belief!  They seem to have it sussed at the clinic though.   I can upload to Diasend from the Libre reader... or I could if I knew the clinic reference number.

The connection for the Combo is  poor, but not the Insight which connects to USB directly from the handset.

The Vibe is slow as it uses IR (part of making it more water resistant) The rep said at my new pump hand over to use the new IR thing as they had improved it.

At my local clinic they have a PC only for uploading pumps that has a billion different leads coming out to it. The nurse was in my Endo appointment trying to get it to upload but it didn't work. We had a chat about how it isn't allowed on the NHS network and isn't supported by the people that do the rest of the IT support. The Endo said they aren't even able to connect USB devices on the networked PCs etc I'd uploaded my pump anyway and logged into my Diasend account, while I was there I got the clinics ID and shared with my local clinic.

hey patti -- you don't need to worry about the clinic reference number -- that is their problem
just make sure to tell your DSN she NEEDS to get her code from diasend

this issue happened to me when I first started pumping -- my DSN did not have the clinic login ID stuff sorted
just pester them to make sure they have done it for your next visit -- their issue not yours

if they don't come up with the goods -- a neat fallback position of ........ oh ! i guess this appointment is a waste of time if you cant download my data
( watch them grovel at that ! )

Don't forget to pair the handset and pump before you do anything else (well put the batteries in first LOL) otherwise you'll get nowhere fast!

Oh yes... presumably I'll get a "quick start guide" along with the pump.  What I did 4 years ago is not even a hazy memory now, but I do remember that bit Jen!
