We love em, but hey we love garlic! Rarely cook a meal without it.
Tonight we had meatballs that I had made to a Swedish recipe. I made them ages ago and froze em in portions and it was time we used the last ones. I winged a sauce with what I had in the fridge (not Swedish at all!). I used a chopped shallot, 3 cloves of garlic, some veg stock, creme fraiche, fresh herbs (tarragon and chives) a dollop of tarragon mustard and a dollop of double cream. We ate them with a mash made mostly of cauli but with a couple of maris piper potatoes for some texture, carrots and broccoli. So far BGs have gone up only 2
