You might enjoy taking a look at this website.  They have some interesting things for insulin pumps and other devices.

6 more days! I have all my stock in now, vials and ketone strips and the like. Got a new kit bag that I think will hold everything. Expecting a call on Friday from the clinic to let me know what to do about my basal insulin over the weekend, and then on Monday morning off we go!

I've just gotten a call from my NP with the final pre-flight checks!

I'm to take my Tresiba early on Saturday and then take none at all on Sunday, so that come Monday morning it will be completely out of my system (it can last up to 40 hours or something like that). They gave me instructions for firefighting during the day, but I'm not looking forward to how I will feel waking up Monday morning after a night with no basal!   I don't fancy setting a middle-of-the-night alarm but I suppose it might be necessary this time.

On the other hand I've had something like 5 hypos in the past 3 days (TOM) sooo maybe it'll be a nice change to have the "other problem" for a while.  ;D
