Soy bean spaghetti
« on: 25 June 2018, 09:59:26 PM »

Might have been discussed before.

Sold at aldi. 6.9g carb per serving (50g) normal spaghetti is 72g per 100g serving, so quite a difference.

I tried it a few weeks ago and tested bg's before and after with good results.

Only criticism is, this spaghetti substitute   clumps together and doesn't flow freely like ' proper ' spaghetti.

Taste and texture is ok, a cross between Chinese noodles and spaghetti!

Aldi also do a black bean spaghetti which looks like pasta in squid ink......
Same carb content.

T2 since 2002.
metformin 2000mg. humalin I and humalog
