Medtronic cgm
« on: 12 November 2018, 10:47:24 AM »
So my about a year old Vibe is being replaced by a Medtronic pump the end of this month. I believe this has a built in CGM? I'm wondering if any of our members have the pump & how much the sensors cost vs say the Libre? I'm thinking about self-funding.

Bit busy this morning so just a quick question. I'll see later when I have more time.

Mike (everydayupsandowns) has a Medtronic and has used the sensors.  He has blogged on it here:
https://www.everydayupsanddowns.co.uk/2017/
https://www.everydayupsanddowns.co.uk/2015/
and here:https://www.everydayupsanddowns.co.uk/2018/
I'm sure if you asked him he would come on and tell you more about costs etc

I had them when I was pregnant with my son 5 years ago and they were around £50, same as the libre is now, I doubt they’ve increased, the set up kit was the best part of £300 then I think
Pumping with a shitty Accu Chek Insight

HbA1c 23/10/18 - 41/5.9 (pregnant)
