Adding Code to a Sig
« on: 03 October 2011, 11:28:19 PM »
To add code to a sig, allowing inclusion of things like smilies and embedded links, this may help.
Draft your sig as a reply to this message, including links, smilies, gifs or whatever you like (within the limits of the moderator's approval  :) ). For example:
I love the DSF shop  :D
Click on the toggle icon Toggle View
Your draft sig will now look something  like this (spaces added to let it appear) :

I love the [ url = / ][ b ]DSF shop [ / b ]  : D

Copy and paste that code to the sig preparation field in your forum profile area and your new sig with links and smilies will miraculously appear. You may need to remove some extra spaces between lines that sometimes appear when you toggle.

Use the preview method to see your results until you are happy. There is no need to actually post a reply here unless you want people to comment on it.
Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.
